Just follow these steps:

  • Pick a week when you’ll have enough time and energy to take on the challenge (both adults and kids).
  • Print out the tracker tool.
  • Read through the challenges and pick the ones you want to do over the next week. You can also make up your own challenges.
  • Cut out the week’s challenges and glue them in the Daily Challenge column.
  • Every day, take some time to complete the challenge as a family.
  • When you’re done, colour in the shape to the right of the challenge.
  • Keep going all the way till Saturday!
  • At the end of the week, review how it went with your child. What was their favourite activity? What was their least favourite activity? This will help you get a feel for how you can cultivate their love for reading.
