Combining art and math doesn’t just help your child learn—it’s also a fun and creative way to encourage the development of essential skills like fine motor skills and logical thinking. Here are some other ideas for combining art and math:
- Make geometric patterns: Encourage your child to create repeating patterns using geometric shapes or playing with a Tangram. Our geometry mosaic colouring tool is also a great option!
- Create holiday designs from geometric shapes.
- Calculate the area of our mascot Flo by counting the unit squares. Then, encourage your child to draw their own pictures with unit squares on graph paper.
- Complete our Easter math operations colour-by-numbers. This tool is in the Alloprof Teachers section, but you can also use it with your child!
