St-Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17. As St-Patrick is a very important saint in Ireland, many symbols of this holiday are Irish (from Ireland). For example, leprechauns, shamrocks and four-leaf clovers are used to decorate streets and stores. In some towns and cities, people wear green outfits and gather in the streets to watch the St-Patrick's day parade.

Leprechauns are very popular creatures from Irish mythology. In fact, they are considered to be natural spirits who gather gold. Their pot of gold can be found at the end of a rainbow, and is supposed to bring luck to anyone who finds it. If finding luck this way is too hard for you, four-leaf clovers are also said to be lucky!
